Anna is an osteopath with nineteen years of experience, registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the British Osteopathic Association, Society for Integrative Healthcare, College of Medicine and the Northern Counties Society of Osteopaths.
Anna enjoys treating a wide variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems, once treatment has regained the patients optimum structural and functional ability she is then interested in the application of rehabilitative exercise and healthy lifestyle advice to promote recovery and long term health.
Following an examination if Anna feels you need to be referred elsewhere for further investigations or intervention Anna has an extensive referral network having worked in the Ilkley area for over ten years. Anna can offer various testing for you if appropriate.
She has worked as an associate osteopath at numerous multidisciplinary practices within the UK and ran her own busy practice in Darlington until 2009, Anna then moved back to her roots in the Yorkshire Dales and has established her current practice in Ilkley. The years of experience have molded her approach to be thorough, calm and sensitive to your own individual needs. She attends regular continued professional development meetings and is an experienced medical acupuncturist.

Anna embarked on a career in osteopathy after a lower back injury whilst on the rowing team at Durham University she sought treatment from an osteopath for the first time and was amazed by how much better she felt immediately after treatment. Later that academic year she applied to the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine to enroll on her four year Osteopathic Medicine degree.
Outside of work Anna enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking, swimming, cycling, Pilates, cooking and traveling.
